ANGELO ZARAGOVIA
I was born in Cali, Colombia, on June 30, 1948 and have created art throughout my life.
In 1983, I immigrated with my family to Miami, Florida, where I have been based ever since.
Once I retired, I have dedicated myself fully to my passion, which is to paint.
Art has always been a reflection of the times in which it was created. From ancient cave paintings to contemporary street art, artists have used their craft to document and comment on the world around them. As an artist, I have found that creating art that reflects current events is not only a powerful way to express myself, but also a way to connect with my audience and spark important conversations.
Art can reflect current events by addressing social and political issues and using symbolism and metaphor. Art can also reflect current events by capturing the emotions and experiences of individuals during significant moments in history.
I feel a responsibility to use my craft to reflect the world as I see it, and to encourage others to engage in a deeper exploration of the issues and events that shape our lives.
I find myself constantly inspired and intrigued by the advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and how it is transforming our world. With AI becoming more integrated into our daily lives, it is important to reflect on the impact it has on us as individuals and society as a whole.
Through my art, I aim to explore and represent our current time of artificial intelligence. One of the main themes is the relationship between humans and AI, the increasingly blurred line between man and machine. I am fascinated by how AI is changing the way we interact with technology and each other.
My art is an observation, and perhaps a reflection, of the impact of AI on our society.

Finally I want to add that I am a committed environment conservationist, I only use acrylic paints, which are water based.
Using abstract symbolism, I explore the ways in which AI is transforming our world, particularly the rapidly changing world of art.
